Job summary

Progressive Staffing LLC is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for a permanent role in Buffalo, NY. You will lead cross-functional engineering initiatives from concept to rollout, coordinating Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, strong organizational and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. PMP certification is a plus; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in project management supporting Engineering/Manufacturing/Operational projects.
• PMP Certification is a plus.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; relocation not available; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional engineering projects and new initiatives from inception/planning through execution.
• Compile team from Engineering, Operations, Quality, and leadership teams.
• Create budgets, schedules, project charters, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Define timelines, milestones, and objectives, tracking progress.
• Delegate and oversee responsibilities, ensure projects stay on schedule and stakeholders are updated.
• Identify risks, develop resolutions to avoid complications.
• Present complex technical plans clearly to diverse audiences.
• Juggle multiple projects (3-5) depending on complexity.
• Work well in a team environment or independently.
