Job summary

Progressive Staffing LLC is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for a permanent role in Buffalo, NY. You will lead cross-functional engineering initiatives from concept to rollout, coordinating Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, strong organizational and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. PMP certification is a plus; US work authorization is required.

ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER (Permanent) Our client, a global manufacturing organization in WNY, is looking to add an Engineering Project Manager to their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage cross-functional engineering projects and new initiatives from inception/planning through execution
• Compile team from Engineering, Operations, Quality, and leadership teams
• Create budgets, schedules, project charters, and risk mitigation strategies
• Clearly define timelines, milestones, and objectives, tracking each as the project progresses
• Delegate and oversee responsibilities, ensure projects remain on schedule and internal/external stakeholders are updated/aligned throughout
• Identify risks, develop resolutions, and proactively manage each to avoid further complications
• Present complex technical plans in a clear/concise manner to a diverse audience
• Juggle multiple projects at a time—anywhere from 3-5 is typical, depending on the complexity
• Work well in a team environment as well as independently
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
