Job summary

Vida Health, Inc. seeks a senior leader to own Production Operations and Security. You will manage test strategy, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud infrastructure while ensuring robust security across the platform and enterprise data integrations.

You will serve as the Security Officer, own the information security program, and coordinate with customers on security questionnaires and audits. This role demands strong leadership, regulatory awareness, and a track record of improving reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years leading multiple teams and developing Engineering Managers.
• Experience owning DevOps, SRE, platform, or engineering operations at scale, incl. CI/CD, IaC, cloud infra (AWS or GCP).
• Experience owning a customer-facing production operations, integrations, or technical support function with real SLAs.
• Demonstrated incident management leadership for production systems.
• Experience in regulated environment: HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI, or comparable.
• Proven ability to restructure a team inherited from another part of the business.

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy and automation, CI/CD, IaC, cloud platform, and developer environments.
• Set and enforce quality gates and deployment practices for rapid product engineering progress.
• Drive measurable improvements in developer productivity, reliability, and recovery time.
• Own corporate IT, IAM, endpoint and device management, and SaaS/vendor security.
• Serve as Vida's Security Officer with policy ownership, risk assessment, and incident response.
• Lead security diligence with customers, audits, and questionnaires within sales cycles.
