Job summary

AllSTEM Connections seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a growing Chicago-area engineering organization. You will oversee a team of ~30 engineers, designers and technical professionals focused on switchgear, power distribution equipment and engineered electrical systems.

You'll provide strategic leadership while staying hands-on when needed, and work directly with customers to define technical direction, schedules and budgets as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience in engineering management with 15+ years in related fields.
• Proven ability to lead a 20–30 person engineering team in a manufacturing or project-driven environment.
• Strong background in switchgear and power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of ~30 engineers, designers and technical professionals.
• Provide technical direction for switchgear and power distribution systems.
• Set priorities, performance expectations and engineering standards.
• Manage projects, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Collaborate with customers to align requirements and solutions.
• Partner with PM, manufacturing, operations, sales and estimating.
