Rise Technical Recruitment Limited in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer focused on Medium Voltage power distribution and complex switchgear design. You will own the full design lifecycle from concept through on-site production.

You will receive specialist training and mentorship from VPs and senior leadership, with a clear path toward management. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and MV experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with medium voltage controls, complex wiring, and circuitry.
• Electrical design experience within power distribution (switchgear or switchboards).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of complex Medium Voltage switchgear, including 2D elevations, section views, and electrical schematics.
• Manage the submittal and approval phase, focusing on intricate controls and advanced wiring systems.
• Receive specialist training and direct mentorship from VPs and senior leadership via weekly sessions.
