Job summary

PrimeMatch Advantage is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electrical switchgear and power distribution systems. You will mentor engineers, guide complex design challenges, and ensure adherence to industry standards.

You will create and revise engineering drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support manufacturing and testing through project completion.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical expertise in switchgear and power distribution system design.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to design engineers.
• Lead design and development of complex electrical switchgear systems including one-line diagrams, schematics, and control circuits.
• Create and revise engineering drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Review engineering deliverables for technical accuracy and compliance with standards (IEC, ANSI, UL, IEEE).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
• Support manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and post-shipment activities.
