Job summary

Semgrep is seeking an engineering leader for the supply chain team to build customer-facing tools that help developers secure dependencies. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design, and drive architectural decisions for scalable data systems.

You will work with cross-functional partners to set a practical roadmap, coach engineers, and contribute technically to deliver new features while growing the team’s impact and security capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong foundation in product development and bringing products to production via a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Familiarity with agile development principles and iterative milestone development.
• Desire to help engineers and other leaders grow through coaching and mentorship.
• Opinions on Software Composition Analysis, have built a security product before, or worked at a dev tooling company.

Responsibilities

• Craft your team’s strategic direction and a strong quarter-over-quarter roadmap.
• Define goals within a team meeting to drive execution and future vision.
• Coach a senior engineer to lead and mentor others on challenging projects.
• Make direct technical contributions to deliver new features and understand ongoing work.
