Job summary

Semgrep, the leader in code security, is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for the software supply chain team. You will lead a team building customer-facing tools to help developers secure dependencies and reduce noise from vulnerabilities.

You’ll mentor engineers, collaborate with product and design, and define a roadmap balancing new tech with quality. This hybrid role requires 3 days in our San Francisco office or our NYC office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong foundation in product development and bringing products to production.
• Familiarity with agile development principles.
• A strong desire to help engineers and other leaders grow through coaching and mentorship.
• Experience with Software Composition Analysis or security products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define a roadmap for the product that balances iterative changes with big bets.
• Direct your team’s schedule, balancing new technology and internal quality.
• Mentor engineers with regular feedback and performance discussions.
• Contribute technically to deliver new features and understand the work your team does.
• Hire diverse, high-level technical talent to grow the team.
