Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Miami to lead enterprise SAP Commerce Cloud and Spring‑based microservices initiatives. You will mentor engineers, manage end‑to‑end delivery, and partner with Product, Business, and Architecture teams to translate requirements into technical roadmaps.

The role combines hands‑on leadership with architectural oversight, ensuring security, performance, and scalable commerce capabilities across global brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 10–15 years in software engineering with 6+ years in SAP Commerce/Hybris.
• 10+ years building microservices on Spring stack; 15+ engineers led.
• Proven delivery of large SAP Commerce implementations with microservices.
• Hands-on with Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x, REST/gRPC, SAP Commerce extensions.
• Experience with GraphQL, DDD, SAP Commerce Cloud on Azure, and Kubernetes.
• Strong Agile/DevOps background and executive communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of SAP Commerce Cloud and microservices.
• Provide technical direction across Product Catalog, Promotions, Orders, and more.
• Oversee integration with Microservices, GraphQL, SAP, CRM, and external APIs.
• Govern cloud-native microservices, API contracts, and versioning standards.
• Define patterns for resilience, retries, circuit breakers, and rate limiting.
• Drive CI/CD, DevOps practices, and release cycles; manage KPIs.
• Mentor tech leads and developers across onshore and offshore locations.
