ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager within its Nuclear Services Group. You will lead the Engineering Unit to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high quality, while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of design engineering experience in the Power Industry.
• Active PE license or willing and able to obtain active PE license in the near term.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; Comfortable and effective communicator with staff, clients (internal and external), management, etc.
• Strong technical writing, attention to detail, and human performance skills.
• Strong coordination and team-building skills; demonstrated ability to work across disciplines, divisions, and teams.
• Ability to motivate team members and achieve goals through leadership aligned with ENERCON’s Defining Excellence fundamentals.
• Travel approximately 15% of the time to client sites and between ENERCON regional offices.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery, Quality & Continuous Improvement: Ensure the Engineering Unit staff maintains schedules, budgets, and quality of deliverables.
• Maintain responsibility for the engineer team’s quality; establish and enforce quality standards for the team through the Project Engineers and Discipline Managers.
• Maintain, update, and execute Continuous Improvement Plans.
• Accountable for ensuring project budget and schedule are met for division projects.
• Responsible for the approval of engineering documents produced by the Engineering Unit.
• Drive continuous improvement in the organization utilizing lessons learned and corrective action programs.
