Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Engineering Manager, Software IPT Lead for the MANTA APNT program in Cedar Rapids, IA. This onsite role combines program leadership with engineering management to guide real‑time embedded software for GPS receivers and military PNT products.

You will lead a team of 10+ engineers, oversee lifecycle activities, ensure Agile compliance, and coordinate with Product Owners. Relocation and signing bonus are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM bachelor’s degree with extensive relevant experience or an advanced degree with significant experience.
• DoD security clearance eligibility is required (clearance being pursued).
• Experience with real‑time embedded software development processes and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead MAPS program team through all phases of the software lifecycle.
• Manage IMS/PIPE planning, resources, and delivery per customer requirements.
• Oversee EVM execution and identify program risks & opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to adjust technical performance and staffing.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and development for 10+ software engineers.
