Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead traffic and engineering projects. The role is on-site or hybrid at offices in OH, IN, KY, or WV, and includes a sign-on bonus. PE licensure required with multi-state reciprocity.

Responsibilities include overseeing engineers, managing financials, and serving as client representative for complex projects across transportation and infrastructure sectors.

Qualifications

• Oversee engineers in the development of plans, financial monitoring, and client representation.
• Experience with State Agencies required; Design-Build experience preferred.
• PE Registration required with ability to attain PE in surrounding states.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects with complex features and cross-functional teams.
• Develop design alternatives considering constraints, permitting, and community input.
• Integrate sustainability into engineering solutions.
• Oversee technical, legal, and financial aspects of complete projects.
• Implement effective teamwork and leadership principles across the practice.
