Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead the Object Storage Platform team, overseeing both development and SRE responsibilities. You will own end-to-end lifecycle from roadmap to production operations, building a high-performance, reliable storage service for AI workloads.

Responsibilities include roadmap execution, service reliability, and cross-team collaboration with Data Movement, GPU compute, Platform, and Security teams.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in an engineering management role leading teams of 10+ engineers delivering production services at scale.
• Deep technical background in distributed storage systems or large-scale cloud data services; hands-on development in Go, C++, Python, or equivalent languages.
• Direct, hands-on experience building or scaling S3-compatible object storage systems in production environments.
• Experience building or operating cloud storage services with reliability, performance, and capacity at scale.
• Proven track record of shipping production software on time with multi-threaded delivery.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, automated testing, SLO-based reliability, observability, and incident management.
• Ability to attract, develop, and retain engineering talent, growing engineers into senior roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating technical trade-offs for partners and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an engineering organization, setting high standards for software quality and reliability.
• Own roadmap execution for the internal object storage service, translating multi-quarter goals into plans with milestones.
• Drive development and operation of the S3-compatible storage service for exabyte-scale workloads.
• Collaborate with data movement and GPU teams to minimize I/O bottlenecks and keep accelerators utilized.
• Define and uphold service reliability standards, SLOs, capacity planning, incident response, and on-call hygiene.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards: design reviews, code quality, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability; mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with Platform, Networking, Security, and global SRE teams to ensure smooth transitions to production.
• Champion AI-assisted development tooling to accelerate productivity and raise output; report status to senior leadership.
