NVIDIA Corporation's Object Storage Platform team builds and operates the company's internal, S3-compatible distributed object storage service — a backbone for AI training and inference workloads at exabyte scale.

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead the team with both development and SRE responsibilities, owning the full lifecycle from roadmaps to production operations while fostering a diverse, high-performance culture grounded in technical excellence and continuous delivery.

Qualificações

• 10+ overall years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering management leading teams delivering production services at scale.
• Deep technical background in distributed storage systems, object storage platforms, or large-scale cloud data services.
• Hands-on development experience in Go, C++, Python, or equivalent systems languages.
• Direct, hands-on experience building or scaling S3-compatible object storage systems in production cloud/private cloud environments.
• Experience building or operating cloud storage services with reliability, performance, and capacity at scale.
• Proven track record shipping production software on time, managing scope, risk, and delivery across multiple streams.
• Strong experience with modern software development and service delivery practices: CI/CD, automated testing, SLOs, observability, and incident management.
• Ability to attract, develop, and retain engineering talent, growing engineers into senior roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for partners and executives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and grow an engineering organization with high bar for software quality and reliability.
• Own roadmap execution for the internal object storage service with cross-functional partners.
• Drive development and operation of the S3-compatible service to meet exabyte-scale demands.
• Collaborate with Data Movement and GPU teams to minimize I/O bottlenecks.
• Define and uphold reliability standards: SLOs, capacity planning, incident response, and RCA.
• Partner with global SRE teams to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Establish engineering standards: design reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, observability.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers across all levels; nurture diverse, inclusive teams.
• Champion AI-assisted development tooling to accelerate productivity.
• Report to senior leadership with transparent status updates and risk surfaces.
