NVIDIA seeks a Storage Production Engineering leader to guide a team responsible for next-generation storage systems. You will design and operate large-scale distributed/file/object storage, drive automation, and ensure reliability for AI and HPC workloads.

You will partner with engineering, DevOps, and AI/ML groups to optimize data pipelines, access patterns, and system performance, while shaping capacity and availability strategies across on-prem and cloud environments.

Formación

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Storage Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in large-scale storage architecture, operations, or production engineering.
• 6+ years of people management or technical leadership in storage.
• Experience managing on-call rotations, incident response, and production maintenance.
• Hands-on with parallel file systems (Lustre/GPFS) and distributed/object storage (Ceph/MinIO).
• Knowledge of block, file, object storage tuning for high availability.
• Experience with storage networking protocols (NFS/SMB/iSCSI/FC/RDMA/NVMe-oF).
• Automation and IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.
• Strong monitoring/observability with Prometheus/InfluxDB/Elastic.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and mentor Storage Production Engineers to foster collaboration and learning.
• Design, deploy, and scale large storage systems including distributed/file/object storage.
• Use automation and monitoring to improve reliability and efficiency of storage services.
• Own capacity planning, data lifecycle, costs, and high availability/disaster recovery.
• Evaluate and adopt modern storage approaches like NVMe-oF and cloud storage.
• Manage incident response and root-cause analysis to prevent repeats.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and AI/ML teams to optimize data pipelines.
