Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Typically twelve plus years of professional experience in project engineering.
• Graduate degrees typically count as two plus years of experience.
• Experience estimating time and resources needed to execute engineering activities.
• Requires specialized knowledge within the function of project engineering management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program / project requirements.
• Manages design cycle sprints and provide direction to ensure convergence of efforts to deliver high-quality engineering work within schedule and budget.
• Oversee engineering staff performance, development, and staffing.
• Influence strategy, methodology, and tools, including resources and policy formulation for the area.
• Coordinate with engineering firms, suppliers, contracts, and procurement to meet project goals.
