Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager with a track record of leading high-functioning teams.
• Full-Stack Leadership for High-Availability Systems: managing cross-disciplinary engineers and production operations.
• Strong People Development Skills: coaching, mentoring, and growing engineers at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Full-Stack Team across backend and frontend management applications.
• Design the technical vision and roadmap for multi-channel messaging (including WhatsApp and SMS).
• Balance delivery services with internal tools used by editorial and product teams.
• Ensure reliable, sub-second delivery of push notifications.
• Partner with Product, Design and Data to prioritize investments balancing immediate needs with long-term modernization.
• Lead cross-team technical or cultural programs within the Messaging Platforms group.
• Represent the team in high-level technical discussions, assessing risks and tradeoffs.
