Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in California seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team building platform software around open-source containers, Kubernetes, Kata and Confidential Containers. You will guide architecture, delivery, and collaboration across NVIDIA's stack to accelerate GPU-enabled cloud native solutions.

Candidates should have 12+ years in software with 5+ years leading teams, strong Linux, Go and Rust skills, and experience with distributed systems and cloud computing.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of Container Orchestration Systems (K8s) and Container Technology.
• Working knowledge in Systems programming languages, such as Rust and Go, alongside a strong foundation in data structures and algorithm design.
• Knowledge and experience working with System internals of Unix/Unix-like kernels such as Linux.
• Strong background in Cloud Computing and Distributed Software design and development.
• Understanding of performance, security, and reliability in complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small dynamic team to explore ways to make GPU-accelerated applications easier to develop, deploy, and monitor.
• Enable GPUs as first-class resources in Kubernetes, Kata Containers, and Confidential Containers.
• Join the core group enabling NVIDIA accelerators in the Kubernetes environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across NVIDIA to ensure seamless integration across the stack.
• Multitask across tracks to address evolving priorities.
