Job summary

CoStar Group in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead software development teams in an Agile environment. You will drive architecture, delivery, and staff leadership across frontend and backend technologies including Typescript, React, NodeJS, .NET Core, SQL Server, and AWS.

In this role you will collaborate with Product Leaders and Sales to design customer-focused solutions, ensure high-quality software, and act as Voice of the Customer during product readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of team leadership experience.
• Experience using TypeScript, Elastic, C#, SQL Server, and AWS technologies.
• Proficiency in Continuous Delivery best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with AI technologies and AI adoption.

Responsibilities

• Provide architecture, project ownership, and team leadership.
• Lead software teams building applications with modern tech (Typescript, React, NodeJS, .NET Core, SQL Server, AWS).
• Coordinate projects within teams and across departments; act as player-coach.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to design customer-focused applications.
• Apply quality management methods to deliver defect-free software.
• Act as Voice of the Customer in product readiness reviews.
