CoStar Group in Richmond, VA seeks a hands-on Team Lead, Software Engineering - Full-Stack to guide a senior team building financial web apps used by sales, finance and customer service. You will shape architecture, mentor engineers, and ensure reliability and audit readiness in a SOX-controlled environment.

This role combines leadership with hands-on coding in React, Node.js and C#, overseeing API design, CI/CD, and cloud deployment across Azure/AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years in web applications; 3+ years building large distributed API-driven systems.
• Proven delivery ownership with cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on React and server-side development (Node.js, C#/.NET).
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills; data quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of full-stack engineers; hiring, coaching, performance management.
• Own end-to-end delivery and architecture across the stack.
• Coordinate with product, finance, and customer service; set realistic commitments.
• Hands-on design and implementation; participate in reviews.
• Ensure production support, monitoring, incident response, and reliability.
• Maintain high standards for testing, CI/CD, documentation, and security.
