Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Data Self-Service Platform team and steer the end-to-end development of a new internal self-service data toolset. You will enable analytics teams to access, govern, and model data through user-friendly software you help build.

You will mentor engineers, align technical work with business strategy, and ensure production-grade quality, security, and observability across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering leadership experience.
• Experience leading full-stack teams (React/Python preferred).
• Strong communication for stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
• Experience overseeing production-grade full-stack applications and gRPC/REST APIs.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
• Knowledge of Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms and Snowflake data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the Data Self-Service Platform (React/Python/Snowflake).
• Manage, mentor, and foster the professional growth of a team of software engineers.
• Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
• Serve as a bridge between engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure high code quality, observability, and robust architecture practices.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and operational efficiency.
