Job summary

Netskope is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Data Lineage team to lead the architecture of a high-performance data provenance platform across cloud apps, endpoints, and on-prem systems.

You will partner with product and engineering to align roadmaps with business objectives, mentoring engineers while shaping the long-term technical vision and roadmap for scalable data lineage solutions at Netskope.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading engineering teams.
• BSCS or equivalent required; MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
• Experience with distributed streaming systems (e.g., Kafka) in production environments.
• Bonus: deep experience with end-to-end data lineage lifecycle and graph modeling.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Data Lineage product roadmap with cross-functional partners.
• Set architectural direction for high-throughput, multi-tenant platform and streaming ingestion.
• Mentor a high-performing engineering team and align milestones with business objectives.
• Drive reliability via SLOs, incident response, and performance optimizations for production systems.
