Job summary

Postman is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to own the engineering behind its API Catalog, serving as the system of record for a large platform organization. You will lead a senior US-based team, drive cross-team delivery, and set a high technical bar across ingestion, federation, and governance features.

You’ll tackle scale, reliability, and data-driven telemetry, ensuring production ownership and effective collaboration with multiple provider ecosystems and on-prem and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with proven deep technical expertise.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams of senior engineers.
• Experience shipping across organizations and coordinating with non-direct teams.
• Deep experience with event-driven and asynchronous API tech (Kafka).
• Experience with governance, audit, or compliance reporting for enterprise buyers.

Responsibilities

• Own the API Catalog engineering roadmap and production ownership.
• Lead a US-based senior team and cross-functionally land work.
• Set technical bar, design reviews, testing, and staged rollout.
• Collaborate with provider connectivity and gateway ecosystems across environments.
