Job summary

Postman is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to own the engineering behind its API Catalog initiative. You’ll lead a small, senior, US‑based team and spend time landing work that crosses team boundaries to scale governance, ingestion, and reporting across enterprise environments.

You’ll set technical direction, drive architecture across ingestion, federation, and telemetry, ensure reliability, and maintain a culture of collaboration and measurable quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Depth you can prove on a hard technical problem you personally solved — a system you designed and debugged yourself.
• Experience taking a validated product from 1→10 — scaling something with customers into something standardised by a large organization.
• Production ownership of an enterprise integration surface across breadth — many third‑party providers with their own authentication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a senior team and coach engineers, setting a clear technical bar and ensuring work is legible across the organization.
• Land work that crosses team boundaries and coordinate with other teams to unblock reviews without escalating every time.
• Own the technical direction across ingestion, federation, and telemetry, balancing reliability, multi-tenant isolation, and cost.
• Own delivery of the API Catalog roadmap, breaking initiatives into milestones and improving production reliability.
