Job summary

Parachute Health seeks a Senior Engineering Manager to lead two teams in the Clinical Division. You will own the engineering health, delivery, and technical direction of the clinician order pipeline and the patient continuity experience — two connected areas central to how clinicians get equipment to patients.

This multi‑team role requires hands‑on leadership from mid-level to staff, partnering with Product and Design to keep a fast, sustainable pace while growing teams and championing AI‑native

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years managing more than one team or through tech leads.
• Minimum of 10 years delivering software in production.
• Proven performance manager with growth of engineers and handling underperformance.
• Professional experience with open source programming languages.
• Hands-on familiarity with modern AI development tooling and adoption.
• Must reside in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Set high-performance standards and provide direct feedback and promotions as needed.
• Grow tech leads and senior engineers with clear ownership.
• Own roadmaps for two teams and ensure fast, sustainable delivery.
• Integrate AI tooling to improve coding, reviews, and testing processes.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to align scope and value.
• Review architecture decisions and manage risk pre-launch.
• Lead technical discovery and capacity estimation across roadmaps.
• Maintain code relevance through reviews and retrospectives.
• Drive agile practices, TDD, and solid software design.
• Be the primary contact for Product, Design, clinical stakeholders, and leadership.
