Job summary

Parachute Health is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead two teams in the Clinical Division, owning the engineering health, delivery, and technical direction of clinician order pipeline and patient continuity experiences. You will coach engineers, partner with Product and Design, and drive fast, sustainable shipping across teams.

This multi-team leadership role requires hands-on management, a strong performance bar, and mentoring tech leads through growth while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience leading multiple teams.
• Minimum of 10 years delivering software in production environments.
• Proven track record of performance management and coaching.
• Experience with open source programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Set a high bar for performance, provide timely feedback, conduct reviews, and address underperformance.
• Grow engineers to the next level by coaching tech leads and managers.
• Own teams' goals and roadmap execution, remove blockers and manage planning.
• Raise how teams use AI tooling in daily work and guide adoption.
• Partner with Product and Design to align scope and ensure value.
• Review Architecture Decisions and conduct risk assessments pre-launch.
• Lead technical discovery and capacity estimation across roadmaps.
• Stay close to code through regular PRs and design discussions.
• Guide engineering practice with agile methods, TDD, robust design.
