Job summary

Citi is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead large-scale application development within our Funds Administration and Accounting Technology team. You will drive end-to-end engineering initiatives, combining hands-on technical depth with cross-functional leadership, focused on Agentic AI and modern engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software development in enterprise Java environments.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in AI/ML awareness and AI-assisted development practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple software teams, setting technical direction and performance reviews.
• Design and deliver high-performance, large-scale Java applications in Funds Accounting domain.
• Define and enforce scalable architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead code reviews and embed AI-assisted development tooling.
• Architect solutions translating end-user needs into robust system specs.
