Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Manager for the Developer Experience (DevX) team to own multiple charter areas, including our AI remote agent platform and related tooling. You will shape the technical direction, drive a vision for engineering excellence, and partner with stakeholders to reduce friction and accelerate development across our software stack.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple teams and managers in DevX.
• Strong ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs.
• Proficiency with AI tooling, build tooling and containers.
• Creates empathetic developer workflows that boost productivity.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration expertise.
• DevOps/SRE philosophy with reliable release engineering.
• Go programming language mastery and Git workflows.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Acceleration: Partner with the broader organization to build paved paths that engineers love to use.
• Toil Elimination: Automate friction and repetitive tasks to keep engineers highly productive.
• Library & Environment Creation: Develop libraries, tools, and pre-production environments for APIs and microservices.
• Ecosystem Integration: Unify internal tooling and vendor services to automate workflows and improve security.
• Culture of Quality: Lead efforts to sustain a culture of quality that scales with headcount.
• System Optimization: Build efficient systems and processes that multiply engineer impact.
