Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Agent Implementations team within the Conversational Agents Organization. You will guide strategy, build scalable AI agent systems, and collaborate with product, security, and GTM teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

This remote role emphasizes hiring, mentoring, and driving reliability while exploring cutting-edge AI technologies and LLM-enabled features for internal workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience as an engineer writing production-grade code in a modern programming language.
• 3+ years of experience directly supervising teams of engineers across different disciplines.
• Experience fostering a culture of technical excellence and guiding a team through technical design decisions.
• Proven track record of shipping products to production, testing ideas early with customers and iterating rapidly on their feedback.
• Strong customer focus; our feedback loop with customers is tight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; sharing ideas clearly.
• Passion for emerging technologies and staying up to date on their latest developments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering strategy and execution for enabling customer AI agents to securely and reliably consume the company platform capabilities.
• Build and scale systems that power AI agents for the company’s internal business operations, improving efficiency and automation.
• Collaborate across product, platform, security, and go-to-market teams to identify high-impact AI agent use cases and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Cultivate a high-performing engineering team by hiring, mentoring, and developing managers and engineers.
• Drive operational excellence by establishing clear metrics, roadmap planning, and ensuring reliability and compliance.
• Acquire new technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment; be ready to dive in and create clarity.
