Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in San Francisco is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design and ship production-grade AI agents that power customer experiences across industries.

You'll own the ADLC from pilot to production, partner with enterprises and startups, and collaborate with product, research, and platform teams to evolve our AI agent platform while delivering tangible value to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing environments.
• Builder and tinkerer's mindset with high agency to ship.
• Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve problems.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excitement in Tech, Media & Telecom space and a care for brand loyalty.
• Even better: experience with AI/LLM systems in production.
• Founder or founding engineer experience is a plus, balancing craft, ownership, speed.
• Familiarity with AI agent tools: eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering.
• Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
• Experience interfacing with customers or leading external projects

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-grade AI agents powering core customer interactions.
• Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot to deployment to continuous iteration.
• Collaborate with enterprises and startups to scale AI agents across domains.
• Shape the platform by surfacing unmet needs and prototyping new tools with product/research teams.
• Drive impact by delivering scalable, reliable AI solutions in production environments.
