Job summary

Early Warning is seeking an engineering leader to oversee multiple product engineering teams, guiding the design, development, and delivery of software components that power critical payments solutions.

You will manage staffing, budgets, and processes to meet SLAs, while promoting DevOps practices and cross-functional collaboration with other departments. This role requires strong ownership, governance, and a track record of delivering complex systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Three+ years of experience managing development teams.
• Experience with Full Stack development (Java/Spring) and AWS cloud.
• Experience with automation, scripting and configuration tools (Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with cloud technologies and virtualization.
• Proven Agile and DevOps practices across teams.
• Ability to lead cross-functional groups and deliver results.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to handle multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two or more engineering teams and align their work with the product roadmap.
• Guide design, development, and delivery of software components with emphasis on quality and scalability.
• Provide supervision on costs, staffing, and processes to meet SLAs.
• Provide technical guidance on design patterns and best practices.
• Promote DevOps and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Ensure testing policies, audit controls, and risk management are followed.
