Job summary

Early Warning is seeking a hands-on technical leader to set standards for quality across multiple teams. You will own architecture for cross-border payments and digital asset settlement, mentor engineers, and partner with product management to shape roadmaps in a regulated fintech environment.

You will lead design efforts, collaborate with customers, and drive technical vision while ensuring security and reliability across complex systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Fifteen+ years designing and developing complex software, 8+ years in FinTech.
Leading design of large-scale, regulated payment platforms.
Deep knowledge of digital asset or stablecoin systems including security and reliability.
Experience leading cross-functional teams to craft technical solutions.
Excellent communication; comfortable presenting to all levels.
SDLC, Agile/Lean, and DevOps practices knowledge.
Proven experience in end-to-end system design (full stack).
Hands-on Java RESTful services, microservices and Spring frameworks.
Experience with Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, Oracle PL/SQL.
Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) experience and modern tooling.
Git/Jira/Confluence usage; test automation and QA awareness.
Background check and drug screen as part of hiring process.

Responsibilities

Own architectural design for cross-border money movement and digital asset settlement.
Resolve scalable challenges across distributed, regulated payment platforms.
Mentor engineers and guide teams toward secure, resilient solutions.
Partner with product management to align strategy and roadmaps.
Be a technical thought leader and coach across teams.
Own technical product design and architecture initiatives.
Create and deliver presentations for groups of varying sizes.
Collaborate with customers to understand needs and improve products.
Influence engineering approaches and share knowledge cross-functionally.
Develop and shape a departmental technical vision for the future.
Foster progressive change management and internal collaboration tactics.
Support risk management and data confidentiality commitments.
