Job summary

7-Eleven seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for Personalization & Web Properties to lead engineering for omnichannel experiences across web, app, CRM, in-store and pumps. You will own end-to-end delivery, guide architecture, and drive AI-assisted software engineering initiatives with a hands-on, strategic voice.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years leading managers, and deep expertise in personalization, data platforms, and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience and 5+ years in management (leaders of managers/teams).
• Deep understanding of personalization, decisioning, segmentation, and omnichannel activation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering teams responsible for personalization, decisioning, web properties, and supporting MarTech platforms.
• Own the engineering roadmap, delivery strategy, architecture direction, prioritization, and operating cadence for the portfolio.
• Lead end-to-end delivery, including discovery, design, development, testing, release, observability, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Establish engineering principles: API-first design, automated testing, CI/CD, security, reliability, and observability.
• Guide AI-assisted software engineering, including AI tool adoption and production-grade AI agents.
