Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 5–7 years progressive engineering or facilities management experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience overseeing engineering and maintenance operations for a large resort or multi-building operation.
• Experience managing operating budgets, capital expenditures, renovations, contractors, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and life-safety systems.
• Experience leading and developing a diverse maintenance and engineering team.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and emergency preparedness procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work with multiple departments.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems, work-order platforms, budgeting tools, and Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day engineering, maintenance, and repair operations across resort facilities.
• Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs for buildings, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, elevators, life-safety systems, and other assets.
• Ensure facilities meet safety, cleanliness, functionality, appearance, and guest service standards.
• Coordinate maintenance priorities across departments and properties with minimal guest disruption.
• Monitor condition of facilities and assets, addressing issues proactively.
• Respond to emergencies, equipment failures, severe weather, and other issues as needed.
• Maintain records, inspections, permits, service agreements, and maintenance documentation.
