Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team across Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, and Firmware disciplines. You will own engineering strategy, execution excellence, and capability development to meet business growth and customer expectations.

You will drive governance, metrics, and cross-functional alignment while coaching engineers, managing staffing, and delivering high-quality products with predictable timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in product development.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in engineering management roles.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and multiple concurrent programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct multi-functional engineering team organization to meet business objectives.
• Translate business direction into engineering priorities, execution plans, and resource allocation.
• Drive organizational scalability, efficiency, and capability development.
• Oversee engineering execution across multiple projects and establish governance for decisions and risk.
• Ensure predictable execution through metrics, cadence, and accountability.
• Align engineering outputs to schedule, cost, quality, and customer expectations.
• Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, program management, operations, and quality.
• Support customer engagements, including technical discussions and escalations.
• Provide leadership on system design, integration, and cross-disciplinary tradeoffs.
• Drive improvements in engineering processes, tools, and workflows.
• Develop leaders and build high-performing teams; manage performance and staffing needs.
