Job summary

Hyatt Regency Frisco - Dallas is seeking an Assistant Director of Engineering to lead and support maintenance teams and ensure all building systems operate efficiently. You will oversee the daily facilities operations, including HVAC, electrical, and kitchens, while upholding energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs.

Flexibility to work evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in hotel, hospital, or building environments with at least 4 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of facilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related systems.
• Lead maintenance colleagues and coordinate with engineering leadership.
• Ensure energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs are followed.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
