Hyatt Regency Frisco seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to oversee the daily facilities operation, supervise maintenance staff, and ensure HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems run efficiently. You will implement preventive maintenance and energy-conservation programs while maintaining an optimal guest environment.

Position requires strong leadership, 4+ years supervisory experience, and deep knowledge of VRF HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen systems.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in a hotel, hospital, or building operations, including at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong expertise in HVAC (VRF systems), refrigeration, and building services.
• Hands-on knowledge of boilers, plumbing, electrical and laundry systems.
• Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering and energy conservation.
• Excellent time management, detail orientation and organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor with strong verbal, written and electronic communication.

The Assistant Director of Engineering will report directly to the Director of Engineering to help lead and support the maintenance colleagues and ensure facilities and systems operate properly.The Assistant Director of Engineering will oversee the daily operation of the entire facilities, including the physical building structures, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, refrigeration, kitchens and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs.Ensure the guest and colleague areas reflect a proactively maintained esthetic. Flexibility in scheduling – including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays – is required.
