Subway Group is seeking a Senior Manager - Software Engineering to lead the design, development, and delivery of analytics applications—React JS dashboards and React Native mobile apps—for franchisees, operators, and corporate teams.

You will partner with data, product, UX, and business stakeholders to ship scalable, production-grade data products while guiding a team of frontend, full-stack, and mobile engineers. Strong leadership, technical depth, and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of software engineering with front-end or mobile focus.
• Hands-on expertise in React JS and React Native with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong data visualization knowledge and experience with complex datasets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and analytics data via APIs, semantic layers, or warehouses.
• Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs, with auth and caching.
• Solid fundamentals in testing, CI/CD, performance, and security.
• Proven leadership and ability to bridge technical and business needs.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap for analytics applications — React JS dashboards and React Native apps; translate priorities into releases; drive architecture and a reusable design system.
• Lead front-end and full-stack development in React and TypeScript, including state management, data viz, and responsive UI across web and mobile.
• Own mobile delivery on React Native — iOS/Android builds, app store releases, push notifications, offline behavior, and testing.
• Partner with Data and Platform Engineering on API and data contracts behind the apps — REST and GraphQL design, semantic layers, and caching strategies.
• Own engineering quality and delivery practices: CI/CD, automated testing, code review standards, observability, and data security.
• Lead and develop a team of engineers; set goals, onboarding, and capability building; foster ownership and rigor.
• Define and track product/engineering KPIs with UX and Analytics on instrumentation and improvement.
