Job summary

Arrow's Edge in the United States seeks an experienced engineer to perform a variety of assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse electronic/ mechanical equipment and systems, and to lead a design, analysis or review team on the most complex projects.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and at least 10 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience.
• Excellent communications and analytical skills.
• Willing to travel and obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for complete designs, analyses, or design reviews.
• Generate complete design specifications for the most complex projects.
• Train other engineers on technical issues related to R&D, design, testing and analysis.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, financial and program management to define specifications.
• Establish and maintain filing systems or databases to track project status.
• Develop, maintain and produce technical documentation and subsystem specs.
• Interface with internal and external customers from quotation to final design and test activities.
• Conduct site visits and experimental investigations to analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
• Prepare and present technical papers and perform engineering studies.
• Support development of technical proposals and comment on scope of work.
• May organize and supervise a group of employees with responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.
