Job summary
Arrow Electronics, in Carson, California, seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer to lead electronics design activities for water and waste systems components and high-reliability products. You will validate customer requirements through modeling and prototyping, create hardware specs, and drive design verification.
Responsibilities include SPICE analysis with Altium/OrCAD, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, EMI filter magnetics design, and collaboration with suppliers and OEM customers to ensure airworthiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering is required.
- Strong background in hardware design for aerospace/airworthiness.
- Experience leading engineering teams on small to medium projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and validate them by analysis/modeling/prototyping or based on previous product performance.
- Create and maintain hardware requirements specifications and hardware interface control documents.
- Perform SPICE analysis of circuits using Altium/OrCAD PSPICE tools.
- Perform MATLAB/Simulink modeling to generate control algorithms.
- Design magnetics for EMI filters and other input/output filters.
- Lead or support improvement projects across groups.
