Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Boston, MA seeks a senior engineering leader to guide a team building systems and infrastructure for AI data generation and quality assessment within Frontier AI Assets (FAI). You will own end-to-end delivery from design to operations and partner with scientists and product managers.

You will mentor engineers, drive scalable architectures for high-volume data, set technical roadmaps, and ensure reliability and developer productivity across services while representing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical vision and execution for software systems that support FAI data generation and processing at scale.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers, driving technical excellence and career growth.
• Drive architectural decisions for scalable, reliable systems that handle large volumes of data.
• Own end-to-end delivery of software systems, from design through deployment and operations.
• Partner with applied scientists and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Define and maintain technical roadmaps aligned with FAI organizational goals.
• Make data-driven decisions to improve system performance, reliability, and developer productivity.
• Lead cross-team initiatives and represent your team in engineering and business forums.
• Ensure operational excellence across all services owned by your team.
