Job summary

Four Seasons San Francisco is seeking a Director of Engineering to oversee the Hotel, Private Residences and commercial spaces. You will lead the Engineering Team, manage capital projects, ensure building safety, and optimize energy use while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.

Lead modernization efforts, coordinate with security, and drive capital expenditures in alignment with ESG and local codes. This role requires strong project management, leadership, and communication skills in a

Qualifications

• Two to five years of related experience in a Four Seasons or similar hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance and engineering operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering team to maintain hotel, residences and commercial areas.
• Plan, organize, direct and control maintenance work and capital projects.
• Ensure energy management and compliance with safety, ESG and local codes.
• Prepare budgets and liaise with Finance and Purchasing.
• Regularly report to the General Manager and Hotel Manager on status and risks.
