Job summary

Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to support the Director of Engineering in running a large, complex property operation. You translate directions into executable programs, lead teams, and develop analyses and recommendations while acting for the Director when needed.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage budgets and capital plans, coordinate with vendors and departments, and ensure compliance with life-safety, regulatory and safety

Qualifications

Demonstrated capability to manage substantial portions of a hotel, resort or comparable facility engineering function.
Verified experience leading people, maintenance programs, contractors, compliance activity, budgets or projects.
Demonstrated ability to prepare scopes, analyses, recommendations and management reporting.

Responsibilities

Assist the Director in administering day-to-day engineering operation, priorities, standards and systems of control.
Lead assigned managers, supervisors, technical leaders and programs; coordinate staffing, workload, follow-up and service recovery.
Assist with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance governance, including CMMS quality and PM completion.
