Job summary

SOSI seeks an Engineering Branch Chief to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team at Camp H.M. Smith, Honolulu. You will drive strategic engineering initiatives, align with government standards, and serve as the senior liaison with USPACOM HQ and contractor staff.

You will oversee planning, execution, and governance of engineering tasks, ensure responsive communication with government customers, and mentor staff to deliver mission-critical IT solutions while maintaining DoD compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
• Minimum ten years of IT experience, with ≥5 years in leadership roles.
• Experience with government or DoD contracting environments and lifecycle development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering policies and QA aligning with government standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams across time zones and disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and staff.
• Support budgeting, resource planning, and staffing for engineering projects.
