Job summary

SOSi in Hawaii seeks an Engineering Branch Chief to lead engineering operations at Camp H.M. Smith, Honolulu. You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, drive policy, and ensure delivery on government missions in a fast-paced defense environment.

The role requires active Top Secret clearance, 10+ years IT experience, and proven leadership in DoD programs; you will interface with USPACOM and program management, shaping strategic plans and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering or equivalent certification.
• DCWF 802 IT Project Manager – Intermediate: degree or Security+ / GSEC / DAWIA PM Practitioner.
• Minimum ten years IT experience with at least five in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Experience with DoD/government contracting environments.
• Strong systems engineering, project management, and lifecycle development knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engineering policies, procedures, and QA measures.
• Establish long-term strategic plans for the engineering branch.
• Liaise between USPACOM HQ customers and contractor staff.
• Lead and manage engineers across disciplines and time zones.
• Foster collaboration, innovation, and professional growth within the branch.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including cybersecurity standards.
