Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
- 1+ years of work experience in research and development.
- Knowledge of polymer science including structure–property relationships, rheology, and adhesive mechanics.
- Technical expertise in adhesive chemistries, composite materials, polymer network physics, and resin cure chemistry.
- Familiarity with product development processes such as stage-gate reviews and project initiation.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Labview, AutoCAD or similar drawing software.
Responsibilities
- Manages laboratory functions, including inventory tracking and purchasing of consumables.
- Identifies and develops new approaches, solutions, processes, products within agreed timeframes.
- Ensures compliance with SHE standards and manages the lab and innovation process.
- Provides technical support to Manufacturing and Quality as required.
- Executes process developments to support cross-functional teams for new technology products.
- Provides guidance on patents, trademarks and proprietary agreements.
- Approves technical readiness of raw materials and products and first production and quality specs.
- Tests or supervises tests on product stability and performance.
- This role is fully onsite.
