Qualifications

• Valid Delaware or other U.S. state/territory Professional Engineering License.
• Three years experience as a project engineer managing engineering programs and projects.
• One year experience in staff supervision including planning, assigning, and evaluating work of others.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and mathematics applied to technical problem-solving.
• Experience with permit applications, blueprints, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct multi-disciplinary teams developing plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation improvement projects.
• Manage multimillion-dollar capital budgets, programs, and schedules.
• Direct public involvement and resource agency initiatives.
• Draft engineering designs and review permits/blueprints and field studies.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
