Claros Technologies, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, seeks a Senior Engineer to lead scale-up efforts for PFAS destruction technology. You will coordinate across R&D, product development, pilot, and commercial teams to deliver scalable systems for industrial clients.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in industrial engineering, strong process knowledge, and a track record of turning research into market-ready products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical/ mechanical/ process engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience in industrial technology, water treatment, environmental tech, chemical processing, or related industries.
• Proven experience commercializing new technologies and translating R&D innovations into market-ready products.
• Strong understanding of process engineering, reactor systems, water treatment, and system integration.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects to scale Claros' PFAS destruction technology for commercial deployment.
• Bridge R&D, product development, pilot and applications teams with commercial growth initiatives.
• Develop standardized system designs, specifications, and product platforms for repeatable deployment across markets.
• Drive performance improvements in reliability, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Establish engineering standards, design practices, and quality processes to enable growth.
• Collaborate with R&D, Business Development, Operations and Implementation to support customers and deployments.
