Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking an experienced engineer in the Senior/Staff track to join our engineering group. The role requires leading highly complex projects, applying advanced engineering knowledge, and mentoring other engineers while providing technical guidance and independent judgment.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule (three days in the office, two days teleworking). Nuclear power experience is preferred; a U.S. PE license is valued. No visa sponsorship or relocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Nuclear power experience preferred (1 year).
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the U.S. is valued.
• Ability to perform highly difficult and complex work with independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to engineers and teams.
• Plan and coordinate large engineering projects with complex requirements.
• Serve as technical expert on legal/regulatory issues to outside entities.
• Mentor engineers and lead teams as needed.
• Ensure compliance with design criteria and standards.
