Job summary

Black & White Engineering in Tampa, FL seeks a Senior Engineer to lead technical design across critical buildings and infrastructure in North America. You will own design tasks, prepare specs, drawings and contract docs, and work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to meet codes and client needs.

You will guide project delivery from design through execution, identify scope and schedule changes, support planning and cost control, and contribute to the firm’s growth in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years designing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, BMS or fire-protection systems for buildings.
• Working knowledge of US codes, standards and regs.
• Proficient in Revit and discipline-specific design software.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel).
• Professional Engineer status or pursuing it.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality design support across critical buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare specifications, drawings and contract documents for project delivery.
• Collaborate with clients and design teams through the project lifecycle.
• Identify scope and schedule changes and support planning and cost control.
• Contribute to growth of Black & White Engineering in North America.
